London Brownfield Sites Review

Rade worked with Arup to produce a GIS mapping website for stage 2 of the London Brownfield Sites Review they were conducting for the London Development Agency (LDA) and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

The website showed the data collected from the National Land Usage Database (NLUD) and consultations with borough planners overlayed on Ordnance Survey mapping.  The map was fully interactive allowing zooming, panning and identification of sites.

The initial scoping and build ran from November 2007 to October 2009 and included a number of working group meetings where feedback was gained by demonstrating early prototypes of the site.  Rade provided on-going hosting and support until the site was closed in November 2011 as part of the closure of the London Development Agency.
