Transport for London (TfL) Group Property manage information about properties across the Greater London Assembly’s (GLA) group of companies. TfL Group Property contracted Rade to build an online version of their GIS mapping system to allow their colleagues across GLA related companies to query their data.
I was lead on the project and worked closely with the team at TfL to scope, specify and build a suitable solution. The final system allow sites to be queried using a gazetteer search of postcode, street name and site data. Sites could be highlighted, plans annotated and exported to PDF.
The initial build ran from May to November 2009. Rade continued to provide support, updates and new functionality until the system was replaced in September 2014.
